Cisco Warns Of Serious Hackable Flaws In Its Telepresence Videoconferencing Systems - Forbes

(Forbes.com) On Friday, the networking giant issued four separate security advisories regarding various Telepresence products that cautioned users an attacker could send commands over the user's corporate network to crash the service or even take control of it, allowing the interloper to execute any commands he or she wished and potentially eavesdrop on sensitive conversations. In all, Cisco alerted users to ten distinct security vulnerabilities in elements of its videoconferencing products ranging from the network switch that routes the service's data to the endpoint hardware.
