An old joke (end of the 1990s?) about computers is totally outdated.  The giants of the past are but shadows of their former selves.

In Computer Heaven

The management is from Intel,
The design and construction is done by Apple,
The marketing is done by Microsoft,
IBM provides the support,
Gateway determines the pricing.


In Computer Hell:

The management is from Apple,
Microsoft does design and construction,
IBM handles the marketing,
The support is from Gateway,
Intel sets the price.

What the modern IT World looks like?

In IT Heaven

The management is from Facebook,
Cloud services provided by Amazon,
Apple does design and construction,
Google sets the price,
The support is from IBM.


In IT Hell

The management is from Amazon,
Cloud services provided by Apple,
Facebook does design and construction,
IBM sets the price,
The support is from Google.
