Douglas Engelbart is the inventor of the computer mouse and led research teams at Stanford Research Institute that developed hypertext, networking computing and early graphical user interfaces. He has been honored with the MIT-Lemelson Prize, the Turing Award, the 2000 National Medal of Technology, and the Ben Franklin Award. For 57 years, Doug has worked on increasing human capability using Social Networks.
