July 19 (Bloomberg) -- Providers of high-speed Internet service, or broadband, deliver speeds that on average are 96 percent of those advertised during times of peak demand, the Federal Communications Commission said.
The agency today posted on its website a report based on its tests of broadband speeds delivered by companies led by AT&T Inc., Verizon Communications Inc., Comcast Corp. and Time Warner Cable Inc.
